In TA, you get to choose your squad when you roll out. Do you have this option in BF? I didn't see it as I progressed through the tutorial but may have missed it in my excitement to get out there and kill stuff. BF is a lot harder than TA - not as many narrow corridors

I didn't see it as I progressed through the tutorial but may have missed it in my excitement to get out there and kill stuff. BF is a lot harder than TA - not as many narrow corridors The Level Designer picks the initial deployment. Say, for example Captain, 2 Scouts, 1 Soldier. You'll end up with 2 Scouts, your highest Experience ones -- or a new Scout if you didn't have one before. As we progress through the phases you'll see us polishing and slimming down the recruit options to reduce the chances of player accumulating unused or unnecessary piles of troopers.

You can never have too many piles of troopers ... in TA, I had: 3x Scouts 3x Hydras 3x Neptunes 3x Berserkers on top of whatever was there at the start. This way I could pick the right squad to suit how I liked to play. In Level 4 of BF, for example, I would have preferred having 1 Captain 2 Engineer 3 Soldier 4 Soldier The two soldiers would have given me better suppresion fire than the default selection
