I see the option at the end of combat, but nothing seems to happen (although I believe my skill is only 3). I am generally used stun gloves if it matters.

If the check is successful it avoids reputation loss. If it fails, heat is increased

thanks for that. I actually thought it was a feature that had not been implemented yet. like maybe combat would end early, and you could try to intimidate the survivors to turn tail and run!
This is good info. (makes a note to include it in the Knight's Bible)

Ah, Thanks. Looks like I'll be increasing intimidate.

ASAP we will have another type of combat exit screen that includes items like
- Show Passcode / Flash Gang Signs - Intimidate Survivors - Bribe Gang Boss - Negotiate / Talk Your Way Out - Turn Over the Package - Turn Over the Fugitive

now, now, dontcha be adding features so fast my poor little guide can't keep up with them! just kidding, add to your hearts content. but maybe once i get the manual completed (and i mean fully complete, ready to go) you could give me a heads up if there will be a change to a system (hacking for example) so that i can begin prep for changing the section. new functions will cause no problems at all. thats why you can insert text, anyway I hope to get the bare bones manual up by the end of the week. Do you think i should put it in the fan fic section? Or should i put it somewhere else?

Someday maybe there could be a text bubble that tells whether intimidate was successful or not. Like "the small crowd that has gathered laughs at your threats". Or "the small crowd that has gathered avoids your gaze".

drudj - better feedback on combat exit is a good requirement for more than just intimidate. I am sure our stealthy friends would also like to know if they passed their stealth check and got away cleanly or if they were spotted.

agreed. though i must admit, I prefer playing a stealthy character, however, I cannot just leave the loot untouched. Its hard enough to find contact info on V-Chips. I do not think I have ever used the stealthy option due to the fact that you cannot claim the loot off of the goons you just bagged.
