Played Stratos level 1 and one of the initial auto-deployed Templar was a Berserker. Fortunately I had one from a previous game but this raises a few questions....
1. Recruits are 1 - 4 levels behind the average. In a combat deployment is the average used the deployment average or the BFHQ squad average?
2. In another thread it was explained that if you do not have the correct Templar class for the deployment then 1 will be recruited for you. How is the recruit levelled-up for the mission? Regardless of the average level, the recruit arrives with skills/attributes/talents at the default since you need to be in BFHQ to level.
3. What happens if the squad roster is full and you choose a campaign/level that needs a Templar class that you do not have?
4. What can you do if the recruit is a Templar class that you would not normaly select, such as a Paladin? Once used they would likely end up in the briefing room gathering dust and falling behind in experience levels. (This could be another time that the 'dismiss' option discussed elsewhere could be usefull?)
5. Is one of the game drivers that you have at least one of each class in BFHQ ready to go (which would negate 2, 3 & 4 at least)?
This then leads on to deployment strategies. If you have a fully rounded squad do you fill extra 'cap slots' by cycling through the specialists to keep experience levels in touch or do you focus on a core of engineers, soldiers and scouts and hope the rest can keep up if they are ever needed?
