In a number of scripted scenes, we have the option to skip all. However, in reality, it skips to the end of the current portion of dialogue, then if there is any pre-defined character movement and more dialogue, you get another skip all option. In some cases, you actually get about 5 or 6 to complete a particularly long scripted section. I wonder if there is any way to add a marker to the end of each scripted section, so when you press "skip all", it actually takes you to the very end of the scripted section rather than to the end of the next lot of dialogue.
Yes, there will need to be a way for you to move the characters and Xenos into the right positions so they will appear where they should be at the end of your skipping action, but being able to skip to the real end of the scripted sequence is what I would expect to happen when I press it.
Soooo
Current behavior:
<script Start> <-- Current Position
<Dialog1 Start>
<Dialog1 End>
<Animation>
<Dialog2 Start>
<Dialog2 End>
<Animation>
<Dialog3 Start>
<Dialog3 End>
<Animation>
<Dialog4 Start>
<Dialog4 End>
<script End>
When reading Dialog1, you press "Skip all". Result:
<script Start>
<Dialog1 Start>
<Dialog1 End>
<Animation> <-- Current Position
<Dialog2 Start>
<Dialog2 End>
<Animation>
<Dialog3 Start>
<Dialog3 End>
<Animation>
<Dialog4 Start>
<Dialog4 End>
<script End>
Dialog 2 starts You press "Skip all". Result
<script Start>
<Dialog1 Start>
<Dialog1 End>
<Animation>
<Dialog2 Start>
<Dialog2 End>
<Animation> <-- Current Position
<Dialog3 Start>
<Dialog3 End>
<Animation>
<Dialog4 Start>
<Dialog4 End>
<script End>
etc.
What I want is
<script Start> <-- Current position
<Dialog1 Start>
<Dialog1 End>
<Animation>
<Dialog2 Start>
<Dialog2 End>
<Animation>
<Dialog3 Start>
<Dialog3 End>
<Animation>
<Dialog4 Start>
<Dialog4 End>
<script End>
When reading Dialog1, you press "Skip all". Result:
<script Start>
<Dialog1 Start>
<Dialog1 End>
<Animation>
<Dialog2 Start>
<Dialog2 End>
<Animation>
<Dialog3 Start>
<Dialog3 End>
<Animation>
<Dialog4 Start>
<Dialog4 End>
<script End> <-- Current Position
Did I just repeat myself multiple ways? Yeah I did sorry. I wish you could have had a skip all for me too
