We are working with Amazon as best we can.
They are not holding up the agreements we had in place so we're trying to resolve those issues.
Once we have our account with Amazon back in good standing we will resume deploying updates to Amazon for them to approve and release.

Hey Cory - cool about the update ... I like the sound of these changes. You might want to edit the initial post though to say that ST RPG has been downloaded more than 333,333 times ... If you can get all of those guys to convert to paid, you'll have a lot of coffee money! <grin>

Sales people call me every day to tell me how much money we could make if we put in Ads, or if we did such and such with an SDK.
I am just psyched that we got that may people to look at some reviews, screenshots and say "sure, OK, I'll try this"

I got coffee AND the nicest workstation I have ever owned.
It seemed fitting that the money made coding at night on a busted old desktop would buy a shiny new system. I'm pretty darn happy with the results -- the Android SDK runs so much smoother now. Happy devs make better games. =)

Ads? In Star Traders? Blasphemy! *In a sterotypical British accent* Release the Blood Hounds! *Point's in the general direction of those people*

The only issue I have with the update is you still have not allowed the use of the other starter ships to new characters. Could you please fix that as I have all of the unlocked through one of my characters but want to start a new game with more options. Thanks

Hi Duane,
If you've unlocked the starter ships with one character, it unlocks them for all other ships. The proviso is that you've not just achieved the award, but you've also achieved it on at least the minimum difficulty level stated in the challenge. For example, unlocking Serpent Tooth (Dark Nemesis) must be done at difficulty Crazy or higher. Otherwise your character achieves an award, but not the unlock. Also, I'm assuming you are playing on Elite, because some of the starting ships are not available on Free.
@tpb and revpeachsphone ... if you downloaded through Amazon (Free or Elite), then technically you're stuck with Amazon if you want to keep all the unlocks available. You can't use a non-Amazon update. Also just in case you didn't know, you can't update from Amazon Free to Android Market Elite. The problem is that you can't bring any captains across from Free to Elite because they are two slightly different builds.
If you want the fastest updates and are prepared to start your captains from scratch again, I'd actually strongly recommend uninstalling the Amazon version and installing the Android Market version. You get access to updates within a few hours of Cory completing them!

I am posting the newest update to Amazon right now.
We have worked out the issues and will be back on schedule shortly.
Sorry for the delay.
