Just reached Riven Field and found John Robinson's Balgair. I have to say I am really enjoying the story so far; the length of the game really lends itself to a developing storyline that I am loving watching unfold. Gameplay wise, going through the Torrent Watersheds without Phalanx Shield was definitely regretted  |

You're in for a treat. Game gets better in Episode 2 imo. (even though ep1 is very good itself).
Be preparing yourself though that tactics will change once you hit ep2. Don't let your range and support units get too comfy and complacent. They will take hits and be targeted more as you progress (although you've already encountered some of that since leaving Oskahold I'm sure).

Also, be sure to let us know how you like the story as it progresses. It's always fun to see the first run through with someone else's eyes!

Sweet EDIT: fallen, should there have been some 'italic dialogue' saying "you have completed ep1, as the world grows darker etc etc" like there was at the end of act 1? Also extremely pleased to see that there are implications for the story choice I made - even though/especially as it will only come back to haunt me in e4! |
