If Overwatch from multiple soldiers/turrets are overlapped, will everyone fire at the Xeno? I haven't noticed this happening, but seems that it should.

Nope! You need to set your OW to maximize your territory control.
Overlapping gives you nothing, in fact, it should be avoided as it is wasteful.
We're going to make some more improvements to the rendering to make it easier to see where you have already dropped OW.

Hmmmm ... sometimes having overlapping coverage makes a lot of sense. Especially when you got a bunch of newbies who have only figured out the bang bang end of the rifle from the "pull this thing here" end. So many times, you have your soldier covering a corridor 3 squares wide, and the Xeno manages to waltz through his cover section. If you had two newbies covering the same area, at least the Xeno would be hit one or two times more as it progresses and you get dead xeno.
In Aliens (the movie that ALWAYS springs to mind when we talk TA or BF) ... the marines placed two sentry guns in each of the main access ways into the complex. Each gun had overlapping fields of fire. I know I know, you're probably gonna say that they should have staggered the guns for more effective killing, but if you can't rely on Hicks and Ripley to think things through - who can you rely on?

Roger wilco ... I'm doing the Main Temple Complex mission, and after activating the first TP, I have: 1x Captain 2x Soldiers 1x Engineer 2x Neptunes HA ... I'll show the Xenos staggered overwatch

It's prolly not changeable, but when two turrest are about to be overwhelmed, it would sure be cool to do OW around you for onecladt blast for king and country,,, oops wrong era.
Also it appears that if s xeno is stationary and firing under OW, he is not shot at. I can understand the little quick guys getting thru, but the others firing should be open season.
I hope with the little quick ones there is a chance they will be fired upon.

anvil - OW is triggered by alien movement only. Stationary aliens (such as Spitters) need to targeted with Burst Fire.

Learned that the hard way, any chance of changing this? It's pretty logical to have a designated field of fire and shoot at anything that shoots or moves! Basic infantry 101.
