I bought both of these packs, but haven't seen them in game, no settings to turn them on, no files to open. Can you explain how these Ship skins work?

Skin packs? You should be able to save designs with these skins selected.

These packs give you more options for the icon representing a ship designed by you in Ship Designer. In the Ship Designer, after choosing Level, use the Visual button to toggle through the various icons you can use to represent the ship. You notice some visuals are labelled Elite, Hyperion or Alta Mesa. You can only use the Hyperion or Alta Mesa visuals if you bought the packs.

Design a New Ship, and use the "Visual" button on the first screen of the designer. This will change the ship's skin!

Here I am viewing the details of a ship design.  And here I am editing the skin. As you can see, if you do not have the add on you cannot save your design.   Please let us know if you have any issues. Feel free to e-mail me if needed! |
