Do Factions and Territories ever change?

Very simple question, do the factions ever change territory? I'm assuming not becasue despite my efforts the los V dont seem to be going away at all.

Idea for gameplay: It would be awesome if there was a mode similar to sandbix, long drawn out but with each faction truly vying for power. As the days pass and th CKs do their work some factions rise as others fall, especially when your pc is involved....maybe even make a mode where you start your own faction. Keep up the great work!

That might be something we could afford to add in CK2.

CK doesn't change *territory* control but your character can have major impact on the *power* and *prestige* of Los V.
