In your inventory, you end up with piles of V-Chips for contacts. It's great to collect because let's face it, everyone wants to be popular and have lots of addresses in their phone books. However, sometimes you pick up a V-Chip for a contact you already have. You could make some small amount of coin if you decide to sell them, but how on earth can you remember what you have added, and what you have surplus?
Requested then - have some sort of indicator that shows you which V-Chip contacts you have already, and which ones you don't. I thought of a simple bolding of the V-Chips you don't have, but you might have other thoughts on marking this up.

slayernz - I see that we have failed to properly show the game system here. You have a 50% chance to get a +1 XP roll if you use a V-Chip you already own ... that +1 XP roll is against your DV as usual In the next release the toast will be more clear about this.

Oh cool - so using up all the V-Chips is the way to go ...
Is there ever a reason why you would just discard a V-Chip that you get from an encounter? If there is no bad V-Chip, you'd never dump one right?

You know - having the odd subtly-marked V-Chip that has some negative result may be a very cool addition. Imagine getting a V-Chip that causes your head-gear to be hackable. Or somehow turns off an implant or increases the chance of you being monitored ... You'd need to go to the Doctor to get the virus removed ...or you need to purchase an AV kit that helps protect you from malware

Yeah I thought as much ... Too much to push into the existing game when ST2 and BF are still under heavy development

Lol it's getting to the point that I will buy whatever games you put out. I didnt think that CK was the game for me, but boy, was I wrong... HoS is probably my least favourite, but only cause im really really enjoying TA and CK; having never played them before.

Right now I am favoring ...
1. Battlefront 2. ST RPG 3. ST 4X 4. HoS 5. AoP 6. CK 7. TA
I just don't play CK like I used to, and I've beaten HoS (first!)

I hadn't realised there was a chance of XP for using a duplicate V-Chip, is that new, because it wasn't mentioned when I asked for the pda contact list to be alphabetical so you could easily see which chips you had already loaded. I do have vague recollections that you used to have a chance of getting XP if you loaded a computer file you had already read, is this still the case, and, if so, do you have to still have a copy on your computer when you load the second one, or is it enough to have loaded then deleted it?

Hmmm ... 1= BF and CK 3 HoS 4 ST 5 TA 6 Plants vs Zombies 1&2 7 ST 4X (I just haven't had enough time to invest in 4X) 8 AoP (even less time to invest on AoP) ... I only include PvZ because from time to time I need something truly mindless ... it does inspire me to dream of a BF tower defense type game tho ......

There was a time where this was the case, but it was removed as an XP exploit.
