Okay, basically this thread is something that is not about the Big Picture or the Larger Scope of Things (Capitalising makes them look important). Not bugs or game-breaking problems, just some stuff that would let you go "huh?".
It's used to point out the little things that the Super Trese Bros have missed out in their endeavor to make a really awesome game (even if they did make me waste my $ for letting me purchase a couple of apps which I have been ignoring after getting the Elite version of CK).
So, to start the ball rolling...
1) In the "Factions" description within the Wheel: Yakashima is named Yakashumi. 2) In the "Factions" description within the Wheel: Fennian is named Finnian. 3) Several references and texts for Los Vals indicate their full name as either "Los Valentinos" or "Los Valentines". "Los Valentines" of course, should be incorrect as the word "Los" is Spanish while "Valentines" is a Latin-Romanization of "Valentinos" which has its root in Spanish and Italian.

blackgauntlet - what version are you using? I don't see problems #1 and #2 in the code base. The Los Val are street thugs, and no one is promising to get their name right. Any street name like that is guaranteed to get messed up, butchered, shortened, nick-named, mocked or changed on the mean streets of the NBZ. Thanks for the data though. We will try to scrub harder.

fallen - Of course, it's the latest version v 0.3.2.1! I check for updates everyday! If it helps, I'm using Samsung Galaxy Beam which uses Android 2.2 - though I truly doubt that it's about hardware when it's just erroneous texts. Perhaps I'll start a new game and see if the texts persist.

I can confirm all of the above. 1) In the factions list it's listed as Yakashumi and if you hit the Read Detail button it's Yakashima. Also, on the territory map the zone name is Yakashima. 2) Same as above for Fennian and Finnian. 3) For Los V, in the faction list they are Los Val then Los Valentines in the Read Detail button. Then if you go to the territory map and go to The Fenns, their hideout is labeled Los Valentinos.
Edit: All on the latest version btw. It's been like this for as long as I can remember. I just hadn't brought it up because I thought it was probably on the 'to do list' near the bottom.

Ahhh... read detail!
So many places to look, sorry I misunderstood before.
Resolved in the next release.

4) There are 2 Churches of St. Patrick. I know St. Patrick is a very popular patron saint but... it's kinda confusing when we are going to state somewhere specific. There's one in Dorchester and another in Southie.

5) Sorry for my lack of imagination... I noticed that there is definitely trading being done between New Boston and some other cities, with most of the import/export still done via sea-freight.
From the game description, the whole of NBZ is covered by a dome. How does it cover itself from the Atlantic Ocean? If it does not, I'll understand why ships could come and go but It would, more or less, defeat the purpose for having a dome in the first place. Is there some kind of explanation for this?

(maybe...)
The corps operate cargo submarines that pass through tightly controlled locks in the outer dome surface. The dome itself goes right down to the seabed. Surface vessels don't survive the toxic wind for long. Going overland is not a good option either - too many hazards and predators of all kinds out in the waste.
For high value cargo there is air transport of course.

The sludge actually only covers the top 3 meters of the ocean, so the dome extends into the water about 5 meters and is anchored to floating / sunken structures. Cargo subs move in and out of the security perimeter regularly. Most overland transport is done using the Tunnels. Air cargo is a risky, if not nearly suicidal, choice.

@cory 1) So, spike's assumption that air transport for expensive stuff isn't right? So there's no way for urgent cargoes to come in then... Hmm... 2) What is this sludge that does not break down and have a lower density than 1.0? 3) Will these tunnels come into play soon? Are we gonna have an Overland map and an Underground map? Finally... 4) Is this dome square or circular? ;D Not a problem if there's no answer.

Urgent cargo is hand delivered by elite cyber knights or via the matrix =)
The sludge is a mysterious substance. The corps will off you if you try to study it.
The tunnels will come into play very soon.
The dome is round but much of the space is consumed by the harbor and area islands.
Those are also coming into play soon.

@cory- Thanks, my man. Clear as crystal. By the way, are the new monsters "Hunds" spelled wrongly (well... correctly if you're using German)? As in "Hounds" instead?

that's how it is spelled in CK I think. Street term for GMO guard dogs.
