I was reading a forum online that Corey himself wrote to help smugglers get started in Star Traders..I got to the point where he suggests buying the Javat Cutter for around $150k. But I can't for the life of me find the damn ship. Can someone please tell me where it is located. :thumbup: Thanks

You need to have enough positive rep with Javat to buy a Promotion to Rank 1. The go to the Stardock, then the Military Base, and select Rank Ships. The Cutter should be available there.

The Javat Cutter is a Rank ship. One of the things you should also focus on is getting +151 reputation on all three clans so you can get the award for Clan Hero. That unlocks the Honor of Thulun, which is also a rank ship Of all the military ships in the game (excluding flag ships), the Honor of Thulun is amazing. In the right hands, it is a perfect early through mid-game ship.

Rank ships are often suggested by speed players because they're reliably available. They might not be the best ships in the catalog, but you can play to ensure you have access them
