Hi. Just wanted a confirm. Battleforce and future TB games will not run on Windows XP, or is it a case that it will, but no support will be given for using XP, (as in using Bluestacks for Android versions)? Thanks.

Why wouldn't TB games run on Win XP? I haven't tried, but didn't think that the games would have issue with the XP platform because coding across Win XP through Win 7 is pretty consistent if you aren't going down to low-level disk actions (or high admin-level permissions).

We currently list Windows XP as a supported platform for Heroes & 4X. With Windows 10 coming, I am not sure if XP will stay on that list for new games.

Are we talking code specific here, as in PC hardware SSE2 etc, as well as the way Windows 7+ works? As I said before. I hopefully will be upgrading this year anyway. I need more power for my 3D work etc, but if I don't make it financially. It may be a while before I can play the new TB games. While on the subject of compatibilty. Will ST 2 work on an ZTE t81 mobile phone, in regards to Alpha testing? I need to know for boeu.

As long as Microsoft continues to offer an XP compatible C++ runtime, we'll continue to support XP. Once MS stops providing an XP compatible runtime, we will by default stop supporting it. This won't be a choice we make, this will be decided by Microsoft.

I added an edit to the last post about a mobile phone, for use in ST 2 Alpha testing. Need to know if its compatible.
