I really like how the unavailable talents link to the Requisition tree so you can buy them and then go back to the talent upgrade.
Could the same thing be done for equipment? It would be nice to show unavailable equipment that links back to the requisition tree. It also helps whet the appetite for the future goodies.

Every time I gear-up, I'm wondering what I should think of unlocking. It also took me a long to hunt around and find Power Gauntlet to turn my soldiers into melee machines.

Yes, definitely.
We MUST have this idea implemented before Steam, so either this weekend or Monday the code has to go in.
