I wasn't exactly sure where to put this because it's part wish, part a discussion about balance and also a possible bug report.
I am toying with the idea of making a grenadier/buffing captain and looking at his RP tree. The Grenadier branch is pretty lackluster. Each level pretty much gives you one thing for 75 or 100 RP. If you compare that to Captain 3 where your getting 3 buffs, 1 TP upgrade and 1 Ordnance, for 75 RP it really looks like you're wasting your hard-earned RP. Oddly enough though, the last level of Grenadier only costs 10 RP so maybe in the end it balances out. I'm just thinking though that these things need to give you more upgrades or else the RP costs need to be reduced. I suppose that is unless the grenade skill is really that good all by itself.
Also there is the Prolonged Deployment Ordnance in Captain 3 which extends all active buffs for 4 turns and costs 50 SP. Then at Captain 8 there is the Commander's Deployment Ordnance which again extends active buffs for 4 turns but costs 300 SP. I'm no accountant, but I can still figure out which one I'll be using. Am I missing something?

As for the ordnance: the first one is for current templar only while I think the latter applies it to all deployed templars.

Still, it sounds like the math is not quite right ... you'd need 6 Templars on the field to make the "all Ordnance" worth it. The solution here is to raise the price on the single-Templar Ordnance which has actually gone too low now. It cuts badly against the Max Use buff rules.

contributor - thanks for pointing out the issues with the RQ tree in Grenadier. The 10 RP cost is off, and we will fix. We'll spice that tree up a bit too!

contributor - thanks, I've taken that down as a note we need improved text wrapping there. What device are you on? We're hoping to make some near-term changes to how the game sizes to smaller screen devices, sounds like you'll be one of the perfect test candidates.

It's an odd device, Samsung Galaxy S Duos 2 (GT-S7582), running Android 4.2.2. Its got a 4.0"screen.
