I first noticed this in 0.0.23 but it looks like it's the same in 0.0.25. Enemy levels now appear to be very low, but their stats still seem high. My brutal team that has a Captain and Engineer at lvl 14 have enemies that are only level 4, but Goliaths still have high 200s for hit points. They enemies also took a huge jump up in difficulty from level 3 to 4. I was going to start a thread about whether the game gets too easy at higher levels and then the xeno's leveled (to 4) and all of the sudden I'm losing templars left and right. If this is the intended functionality I think I would like to request a change back to more incremental leveling of xenos. Having them get easy and then make big jumps up in difficulty makes it really easy for the player to get sloppy and then, all of the sudden, get squashed without warning.

contributor - it does seem like a bug ...c an you provide details about your full squad? If you recruit a new Templar (you can start the recruit and cancel when you get the confirm dialog) it will tell you the average level of your squad. Is it 14? If that is the case, and you are seeing level 4 monsters, something is not right. What level are you playing on?

Actually I was wrong. Cap, and Engineer are at level 15. I'm on Brutal Diffculty. When I go to recruit somebody, I don't see my average listed anywhere but when I go to recruit it says they new recruit will be level 10.
If it helps a skitterer is listed as level 4 and has 92 HP 18 Armor 39 Deflection And does up to 70 Dmg at 13% penetration

contributor - sorry, it isn't clear - but that is your average adjusted by difficulty. Thanks for that. That does seem very wrong Maybe the level printer is just wrong. A level 4 Scittering should have 59 HP. A Scittering with 93 HP would be Level 14. It is starting to sound like the text formatter is wrong.
