is there a story or do I just keep doing missions?

How do I trigger a story event? There's the dude that I met on the net that wants me to sell data to him, but I don't seem to be getting the right data...

ps I started this game on the free version and then upgraded. I'm also playing on hard. Not sure if that matters.

No story mode yet. There is a Blue Ox mission that is story related, but is currently the only one. In the future there will be a couple of story modes to play through. But right now it is just sandbox.

@twaitsfan - a number of story modes will be developed and deployed over the next year, opening new features, contacts, areas around NBZ, and also... story! The first one is current in construction in the labs, for Chyanne, the female character.
