Cory Trese, what exactly are boarding pods, how do they work and how do they differ from boarding shuttles? Is it the number of assault troops? Is it delivery to the enemy vessel? Thanks.

From a mechanics standpoint, the primary difference is that Boarding Shuttles are a 2 Slot option, where Boarding Pods are a1 Slot option.
Shuttles are larger and deliver entire boarding parties to the enemy ship. Pods deliver individual or pairs of boarders.
