I would love to go, don't have the money though. It would be so easy to dress up my motorcycle for that and have a snarfload of fun. Enjoy yourself and please post pics of the hot babes you find

I had no idea that was even a thing. I'd love to check it out if I could. Vehicles like that are pretty common all over the world as improvised fighting machines- or 'technicals'.

CK2: Shadows of the Wasteland

CK2: Shadows of the Wasteland don't just tease us like that Cory. I and many others are expecting a CK2 kickstarter this year. Your first TB Con could be an angry mob of villagers breaking down your door if we don't get it soon. Hate to say it, but you really screwed up your digital crack. You made it too good and created a demand that out ways the current supply

If you were designing CK2 ... which game engine would you use...
- ST2 - Heroes of Steel - Battleforce

I think Battleforce would be best Cory Trese. Plus if you decided to have Respec in it, I'd call it Reprogram. Maybe have a special type of CK computer that allows it, or a program that can be used once to do it and it's hard to get copies of. Make them special mission rewards.

Yeah, we're definitely keen on making Respec part of the game, but also making it more of a strategic element. Perhaps even limiting the respec a bit more, like saying you can respec Talents or Skills, but not Attributes.
So saying you'd base it on BF means you'd rather have self-contained modular missions instead of open world exploration of a city? That would be my preference too. I don't know how the breakdown among our CK fans would be -- I know some of them love the open world exploration very much.

I think I would also still like more of an open world like the first. That is a big part of the fun. The things from Battleforce that I think would be best are the Req Tree system, the choice of faces. Things like grenades and flames throwers. It's all hard think about with all the great things from HoS, BF, and ST2.

An open world would then mean you'd actually prefer the Heroes of Steel engine, with region to region navigation?

Again the problem is you make too many good games Once the Alpha for ST2 starts I'll most likely end up changing my mind again. Best thing to do is have a poll for every one to choose after ST2 comes out.

For CK2 I want to put the TBs on overload. Open world sandbox play like the original, but have even more detailed city with the zones of control being dynamic and fluid so as the player completes jobs/quest lines you start seeing shifts in what faction controls what parts of city and how they rise or fall in influence/power can be affected by your actions.
