Could anyone tell me who the best armor producers are, other than Yakashima? Same goes for weapons and mars...

Mars rocks the weapon space like no one else. Armors are harder to pin down the best manufacturers, as they employ different proprietary technologies to get different results. The best medical devices are produced by AzTek and their subsidiary, Frontline Medical. Rumor on the matrix says that the hottest decks are from Yakashima.

But it's not as simple as "Mars Rulz", is it? Even within sub-categories of weapons there are different "best" suppliers. Like the best sniper weapon would be manufactured by a different supplier than the best pistol, than the best shotgun, than the best SMG... etc. Certainly that's the impression I got when looking round, but I didn't make a definitive study of it or anything.  |

Thanks for the info fallen. just started playing and having a bit of trouble as i have picked gunslinger. what would be the best spec for gun slinger, and the hacker is a bit confusing to me also. |

@killa - try a couple of the heavier pistols, maybe carry two of them. Switch weapons before reloading in combat. Also, get yourself some better armor... spending 1K on a good suit will save your life many times over.
