As someone who primarily plays in explorer mode, I enjoyed discovering the best planets for selling goods, rumors, and recruiting. But now that I've investigated all the planets, I tend to forget which were the best. So just like my Wild Zone tables, I made these tables for myself and thought that others might find them useful as well. For each planet with an urban zone, it contains the planet's name, urban zone name, grid location, associated faction, and ratings for Palace (Prince), Planetary Security, Trade Exchange, Planetary Economy, and Spice Hall. If you enjoy discovering these for yourself (or think this is cheating), don't download! But if you need a memory aid (like me), these have increased my enjoyment of the game! Again, all info was obtained in-game. If you find any errors, please PM me and I'll post a corrected file. Liz Edit 14March11: Updated versions in post #7!Attachments:

Can I publish / link to these PDF files?
I would be happy to host an official ehkamp version of the file on my site, or link to your blog.
These are so cool. Wow.

ehkamp - as the world's foremost expert on Star Traders planet ratings ... if you have any balance suggestions or "this planet is bad" type commentary I'd love to hear it via e-mail or on the forum

wormholewilly: You are quite right. I posted the wrong file. Oops. Since there is no way to edit attachments, the offending post has been deleted. Here is the correct file for Urban Zone Stats - Elite. Sorry. Liz Edit: Updated version below.Attachments:

Added ★ to the planets with both Urban & Wild Zones, per request. And fixed a couple of spelling errors. Spell check doesn't know the difference between Altarus (wrong) and Altairus (correct). And one place where the Faction's color was wrong. Attachments:

As someone new to the game, could you explain some of that to me? =D
What's the difference between a Palace 2 and a Palace 10?
A Trade Exchange 2 and a Trade Exchange 10?

dashofpepper -- a rating 2 trade exchange will have worse prices, less stock, less protection from trade rep loss, refresh faster and be more susceptible to shortages. The rating 10 places are the opposite.
