To prevent our Hydra thread from being overrun with Neptune posts, let's talk about them here.
I've been running a Neptune for the first time since TA. I couldn't get onboard with them again during the Alpha but I'm loving it now.
And when I say loving it, I mean my Neptune swaps in almost every level to start.
With most of my points sunk into Full Auto, he can chew through just about any amount of enemies. Additional points are in a couple of the other attack talents. I haven't found good use out of his buffs yet, but I'm working my way there with a Leader in the Ranks soldier that I'm building right now. I think having the negatives of the self buffs balanced by LitR will be awesome, but we'll have to see.
I'm finding that with a little Fortitude and Willpower overheating just means more dead xeno.

I was also thinking that I became less and less impressed with the Hydra. I think I could invest more RP to get some better options for him, but the Neptune is just more fun for me.
