Just curious how the leaderboard scores are calculated. Mainly curious because my brutal squad is sitting at a lovely -500k or so, and that hurts my pride. Sure, I've lost a couple templars, but I thought I was doing pretty well  |

johndramey - ouch! Have you possibly dismissed some Templars? Maybe that is an issue going on. We will work on getting out a post that details how leaderboard scores are calculated.

Nope, but as I've posted before, I don't really bother restarting when I lose Templars. My squads tend to be, well, if not quite revolving doors than let's say they are moderately brisk swinging doors. I tend to murderize tons of xenos (I think my average is something close to 3.5/4 a turn) and run my missions fast (never over the target, yeah!) but I've probably lost close to 10 Templars in the squad. Only my Captain and one Soldier (not Dalan Ortho, sadly, he bit the dust LONG ago) are above level 10.

Sure, I'd be happy to. Should I use an app of some sort or can I just get them off my phone through USB? I remember reading something about a way to get the save.

johndramey - it does mean the round trip would take a lot of work ... I think I found one better. I put something in for the missing portrait. When you get the next update on Alpha build (should be v1.1.11) try the game again and I bet you'll be back in business.

The only thing that lowers your leaderboard value is defeat scores. Have you been getting killed a lot?

Do you get more score from secondary objectives or high bonuses (aka 20%)?

The only thing that lowers your leaderboard value is defeat scores. Have you been getting killed a lot? Nope, I think I only lost my captain maybe... twice? I've lost troopers, but that usually results in my completing the mission and weeping for my lost Templar. |
