I am starting a new female 2 character on normal with a team of hunds. If i were to pick 3 factions to build my rep with who should i choose. I realize this can be some what subjective but if any of you vets of this game have some advice i would appriciate it. Thnx for your time.

The Los V's are a great starting gang. Go to the Laughing Dog Bar to get Vinny's V Chip. He's an easy connector to work for. You only talk to him over the phone so you can stay on the go. He'll send you mostly to Streets, Yakuza, Knight Horizon, and Fennian territory. Go to the Los V's Den to get the V Chip for Kass Bad-Eye. She'll give you rewards starting around having a Rep of 25 with the V's. Keep talking to her as you Rep increases.

Surely when u have built your team(stats/skill) and u use hunds and pistols...Combat related jobs are the best,u could try to raise your neg. or intim. and keep accepting kidnapping/bodyguard jobs.. the streets are neverending... Try yakuza, after some time in gang zones...Los V and Fennians first

Certain Factions give out high level Weapons\Armor for rewards. I won't say which because that might spoil the fun, but my point is that building Rep is worth it in a lot of ways. Unless you don't mind buying a new pooch when one bites the dust, you want to try and get the best armors for them and stay out of Corp and Security zones until they can run up and take down targets with no trouble at all. Raptor II is the best weapon in the game according to many. With high enough Gun Skill, you can kill most enemies with one hit.

If you are playing a female 2, make sure you buy the accurate blasta-type gun from Fairlight Outfitters in West End. I have a different strategy for hunders. If you are playing a hunder then you probably want to take advantage of 'walk me across ganger land' escort jobs. Which means don't max your team with dogs (the pups will just die, anyway, until you are better at protecting them) because you want slots on your team for escorting. Hunders get paid extra for escorting, so it's the bread and butter of the hunder profession. This means that you want to get good rep in Streets land first. You are going to be there a whole lot, so better be liked there. Plus there are very nice jobs available from SlayerNZ shipping in Old Kenmore to Copley Square. The pay-for-time rate is hard to beat. When you are in I-93 see if Vinny has work there and do it, to keep LV from being all that hostile. If you get your head wired for courier jobs, take some out of the Yakuza Gampling Den in Copley Square. Take the odd job from Harken's Pawn Broker. This is just to keep the Yakuza neutral about you. Stop by the Bungalow when you have positive Streets rep. There is money to be made killing Blue Ox. Sometimes they have Aztek guests, so be somewhat careful with this. There is one very nice reward in the Cava Saint ladder, which comes early, which everybody wants. Then you can go back to using the Irish lads as targets if that is your desire. For later in the game I always want decent rep with KH. Even though they don't have a ladder. This is because you will want to use their thopters to transport your escorts from one side of town to the other. Unlike taxis, thopters take marks. Have fun! Grävling

Grävling On top of this, I'd like to point out that the Streets has a Smuggling and Escort Den right next to Fenian territory that will generally ask you take marks in LV/FN/YU/KH territory at worst, so making friends with the Streets and probably the Fenians helps a lot here (so you can abuse the boat taxi to make drop offs in upper east territories easier-- boats also take marks!). Being friends with the Fens will also get you an easy to access (as Cory won't give the Streets one a phone or another bridge...) Data Haven to the far south east once you can manage a Hacker specialist on your team (or do it yourself, up to you).

I forgot to mention -- the secret to staying rich (and alive) in the 'escorting-across-gangland' business is non-lethal weaponry. You will get jumped. Just damage your rep as little as you can with each encounter. Shock Maul 1 (2 is not worth it, IMO) for Atilla, and the Ares Gamma 4 from Fairlight Outfitters for you. Eventually you will get so lethal that you can just shoot people dead and not care about the rep consequences, but baby hunders in the escort business need to care a whole lot about this.

Baby ANYTHINGS in the game better care about their rep if they don't want to wind up dead. Luca of the Mars Corp was not kidding-- the NBZ is a deadly hellhole where everything and everyone will try to kill you for no reason other than the fact that you didn't deliver someone's dirty magazines on time. Or you didn't kiss someone's ass enough times. Or someone was bored and you happened to cross their lawn. Your enemies will send hitmen to destroy you. Neutral parties will see you rise and try to eliminate you as a threat. Friends will never trust you to not be a double-crosser and attempt to set you up. The only reliable things you have are Allies you make out of hirable sidekicks, your pets and whatever guns and skills you sell out for money. Avoid violence if you can, but have your taser ready for the insistent bastards who want some.
