For Cadar flagship you have to have Cadar military rank 17, then you can buy it in Cadar planet Rank ships menu.
If it doesn't work, then it is a bug I suppose.

fallen: You are just out of luck. Maybe if the game detects that you have run out of ammo on a gun, it should revert it to the Fist?

I see, maybe that was the reason.

To ensure that I remembered who created the ship, the Father named it ©Father 57.1 AE.
But now I am in my own ship, ©Me 116.21 AE.
Your memory will get removed from the Quadrant sooner or later, Father. I just have to kick the big ol' Turd.
Because no matter what, he still keeps yelling "This is the Father's ship!".
