Having mucked a bit with group heal, I have to say an auto heal button (via sp only, potions should always be manual imo) could do the calculations faster than me eyeballing the health bars repeatedly... Have the proc calc the cost to max hp with most efficient sp use of lone and group heal talents. Still a minor quibble tho. The question isn't really could we do a version of it fast enough -- but would the version make a majority of the players happy or would it be a source of negative energy. I'll look around the boards here to see if I can better undrstand others position, maybe that'll head my own opinion off. Thanks for considering mine though.

Just to add a bit that seems like noone had raised yet (or may be I missed it): Resting at camps/waystations/etc (i.e. to regen SP) deduce from your score. Gold income is limited on higher game levels. Competitive playstyle compels to save on both gold and SP as much as possible. Which in turn means that thoughtlessly splashing heals around may not be the wisest choice.

True, but the serious competitors get to know all that and can easily avoid those high score traps while still allowing the casual and experimenters their game too. As long as it's not a mandatory mechanic I'm finding it hard to see why no auto heal, but if they have people wanting it ten different ways then I DO see why they don't want to add that as a cause for complaint...

It is a question of priority, implementation, and the UI. We have people asking for everything
