Up the difficulty on Replay

Cory Trese, fallen, the Replay is nice to do when you beat the game. Would it be possible to make it so the difficulty level also goes up on Replay. Say you beat the game on Normal. When you Replay it, it goes to Demanding. Your score would be continued to be recorded at the Starting Difficulty, in this case Normal, so as not to give an unfair advantage on the Leaderboards.

I think it would be very fun. Replay now is fun. You can do some levels a lot quicker because you have more Talents and Gear than you did before. It gives you a chance to try other things that you may not have thought of. Just learned a few new tricks today to put in the guide I'm working on that will help even those playing a level the first time. Thanks again for making some of the best game outs there. I really hope it goes well for you guys. You deserve it.

Replaying the game at a much higher level changes the monsters you're fighting and the AI you face pretty dramatically.

Updating the difficulty level actually eliminates elements of the game ... Normal Play #2 is quiet different than Normal Play #1.

If we did this change, we'd force people who wanted to experience Normal Play #2 mode to start by beating the game on Easy Play #1 ... which probably isn't what most players would want.

What Cory said does make a lot of sense. If making it so you go up a difficulty level would break the game so to speak. Then don't do it. I've already done a complete Replay and it was still pretty fun. You've got a lot more Talents and gear to choose from and can use totally new tactics for levels.
