Upon resuming a game, the game is having issues with commands taking a long time to resolve. HTC One M7, Android 5.1
This is not limited to the latest 4X Build, but has affected me for a few updates now. Like I said, I'm not sure if this is my phone or an issue on your end. Here is what I know...
What works fine:
-Scrolling
-Next Ship Button
-Pulling up any menu
-Pulling up any System and the menus contained therein
-Selecting Talents
-Ending Turns
-Most everything else
What lags: This is not just audio, like my post in the HoS bug thread concerning sound lag. The entire game seems to freeze for several seconds, where the movement will wait for the lag to end then the ship will move as expected, just late. When attacking, however, the lag causes the ship attack animations to be skipped entirely, often briefly flashing the damage as the lat few frames of what would have been the attack animation. Sound effects are mashed in with the few frames and sound fine, just overlapping oddly
-Ship Movement Commands
-Ship Attack Talents taking effect
-Sound effects for above issues
-Selecting Upgrades for Systems to construct
Again, like in my HoS thread, the issue seems to resolve itself as the game remembers how to run properly over time. The more I do these actions, the faster the game becomes, until it is running as expected. I'll update this as needed to include other aspects that are affected if this all isn't just on my end.
