Hi! Please add an option to turn off the on-screen D-Pad added in the latest version of CKRPG. It just looks 'wrong' on my HTC Desires' quite small screen. Thank you very much and keep up the great work!

Added as CK-170 and targeted for a near-term release!
Thanks, Andrew

Thank you for adding the option to turn the graphic off. But now, with it off, there is no way to rapidly navigate to the next neighbourhood. What I really wanted was for the navigation behaviour to stay the same as when the Dpad was visible, just not to have any of those arrows, which I find ugly. Double tap on the edge of the map anywhere, to move in that direction until you change neighbourhoods (or cannot proceed any more) would suit me best.

To make all camps happy, what prevents you from making the arrow keys slightly transparent?? like set the opacity to 70% or 80% ?

We are always working to improve the user interface.
This has to be done very carefully however, the more alternate control scheme we add the harder it is for new players to understand, the more expensive it becomes to modify and the more bugs will be injected into future releases.
We're working on improving the results for small screen phones and experimenting with the next round of UI improvements.

They are transparent, depending on the type of display your phone uses (and the background tile color) it maybe easier or harder for you to see the alpha blending code at work.

@cory. Thanks. I don't have any issues with them. DROID 3 has a pretty large screen. works for me. I just thought if the issue was screen real estate, maybe an opacity of 40-50% would still show the buttons, but also allow the background tiles to be seen.
I understand the tradeoff between memory consumption and friendly UI. I believe the only reason, especially since the new phone, that I haven't had any FC at all; is possibly because of the chipset in the phone.
