So, I don't normally min/max attributes, but I decided to give it a try after reading ntsheep's guide. With respec, it's fun to play around. I set-up my Lvl 16 Scout for max crit: Attributes/Skills:Focus: 16 - increase damage multiplier Stealth: 16 - increase damage multiplier Strength: 4 - started increasing to improve hit % after maxing Focus Gunnery: 6 - started increasing to improve hit % after maxing Stealth Gear:Deaden-Scan: +12% critical Specialist Pilot Kit: +8% critical Mensen-Naga Rifle Talent:Headshot 10: +38% critical Here's my damage from my last 10 shots playing Hard on Traitor's Bunker: 267 265 304 144 335 157 308 262 254 327 Average:262 None of the 10 shots missed (even with lower Strength & Gunnery that I have been playing before). Eight out of ten shots averaged almost 300 damage.

That's a pretty good Scout build there. If it seems like if\when a xeno does find your Scout, and you take a lot of hits, try increasing Evasion some. You can focus on just building Strength to get your hit % up and put points into Evasion.

So the Scout has 138 HP, no Evasion Bonus and basic Armor ... using an attack talent that removes all moves? Sounds dangerous!

That Scout build needs some massive protection support, but it's fun to play with the respec and see the high damage.

A common term for this type of build is glass canon. You get massive damage output at the cost of having zero survivability.

Divinity Original Sin had a trait called Glass Cannon. I'm pretty sure I selected that on my two party build.
Not a good build for Ironman, but it seems to be doing okay for me on Hard.

My scouts have had a short life expectancy on ironman sadly.

My scouts have had a short life expectancy on ironman sadly. I'm finding I have to be rather careful with my scouts even on demanding. Bad luck on spawns and attack rolls can play havoc. Aborted one mission after a scout had Xeno spawn near him and manage to hit him with 6 shots despite his 17 ranged defence dice
