Could we get a confirm overwatch if 2 or more mp/ap would be lost i.e. when 4+ ap remain, or 2+mp at time of activation?

I'll put it on the list, but it will be filed under low-priority.

I agree this is low priority, but addressing mistakenly touching the screen and setting Overwatch in the completely wrong location would be a nice small quality of life improvement.
Might be nice to let you reset the Overwatch location, as long as you haven't taken any other action. Basically, allow the player to move Overwatch location multiple times, until they do something else--move, take an action, change to another character or item on the map, end turn, etc... I'd prefer that to a confirmation message (the confirmation message might get annoying after a while).

How do you move it around after setting it? What platform are you using?
I seem to recall not being able to move it by touching the screening, playing on Android, Nexus 5.

You have been able to move it around on all platforms since the middle of the alpha. Just tap the new location you want the OW to center on and it will move.

Yeah, I was gonna suggest putting that info in the tutorial when overwatch is first explained. I found out on the forum here from that old post talking about these thing in the alpha, would've rather known when introduced in the game.

I probably panicked and did something else before going back and trying to move it. Anyhow, if you can move it, I'm not sure I'd want a confirm Overwatch function. If there was one, I'd want it disabled.

Yeah the confirm overwatch is a bit controversial, that's why it never got the priority that moving the overwatch did (plus may be harder to implement), and why I suggested the constraints of having 2 or more mp and/or ap being lost the minimun trigger. Some large majority of the time I don't want it either, but when I do misclick and want it, I want it enough to deal with those extra clicks I may deal with the rest of the time. So all weighed I want it if too many ap/mp would be lost by my litterally twitchy [essential tremor] trigger fingers.

Ah, now I see, under those conditions it would be a nice addition.

I discovered that it moved doing my usual thumb fingered leaving the wrong character active and activating the wrong skill routine. (We will NOT discuss the "pinkie accidentally touching end turn and screwing up bonus" issues.)
