...seems like I'm playing with music off from now on. The game just lost a great deal of appeal. Sorry that you dislike the new update! Feedback on the new variety of combat music has been very positive. Hope you can find something else to listen to while you play.

Variety? When one pitched passage finishes, my brain screams for it to stop, but instead it starts a new passage with the same pitch, drilling deeper and deeper into my ears. To hell with this "variety".

I like the new music, move indication and item upgrades, just a tad overwhelming for first boost in with the item upgrades... Will have to get used to that. New game from the beginning is nice and smooth transition for me though. Feels like a brand new game with this update... nice job!

Great feedback thanks for the positive energy Boost-In, especially on higher difficulties, was really suffering with lack of choice. It takes a little time to sort through it all, but now you've lots of options, and you 'll need it if you're heading out into the world on high diffs. I hope after the overwhelming wears off, its just fun

I am so excited about this as I was just about to start a new game because somebody (names shall not be mention but it rhymes with craze) soundly beat me on the leaderboards for nightmare ironman. The game is afoot!

Good luck! My game certainly had some room for improvement in score. As I move through Ep 3, I definitely lost some will in adhering to minimal camping, extra walking between towns, and spending money that was not necessary (those scrolls in the Stormbrother's Bastion were irresistible).
I also think I had a pretty good set-up for a minimalist approach. Choking Ash pretty much guarantees high level of hits and hitting hard while Sure Parry absorbing 3 hits essentially avoids having to use regular defensive buffs for every battle. Those two talents leveled are all that is really needed for much of the early game. This greatly extends the time between camping. Spotted with Pinning Shot and Ethereal Anguish to control incoming hits, and this party can really move through maps when camping is only needed every 10 battles or so.
I am trying a party of Kincaid, Vincent, Selen, and Fyona. I have hopes for the later game with synergy of holy strickening and thundering blades, but for now it is very different playing without choking ash. The saving grace is being able to roast armies of ratkin with lightning spear.

phaze - that is possibly the hardest but most fun combination of Heroes Are you Pinning Shot for your -AP?

Don't forget FF and CS for -ap until reckoning opens...
Between FU and TB at high level w/HS and/or ES and everyone can be doing nigh low crit level every hit, and the acc bonuses allow spending skill and attribute points a bit less focused on acc.
Higher level and add crits and more -armor in, win your stealth roll and have good mp boosts, then many combats can be done in 2 rounds.

phaze - that is possibly the hardest but most fun combination of Heroes Are you Pinning Shot for your -AP? Yes, Pinning Shot is an important piece for reducing the danger level of mobs and also support regular hitting. Thanks Wascallyrabbit. It takes some getting used to using FA and FF by Vincent to control mobs but it works until I can bring the -resistance components up. Crippling Strikes takes too many points to bring up to speed for the -AP. At least for my build tastes. My preference is to level SP and CF to make Kincaid avoid all damage. 5 talent points means a much better CF (and thus Acc and critical % for needed offense). Alas, on nightmare, I very much worry about whether the +Acc from FU and TB is enough with the late game mobs. I am tempted to split Kincaid to a Darting Steel once I hit can mega damage on the elemental side. On my other party, I was running PS, CA, and FU with EA to reliably hit at all times. Misses are utterly detrimental to damage output.
