First at all i want to thank author for making this kick-ass game, even if I play only in demo for over 2 weeks, if i get credit card - buying elite will be my first thing to do.

Any way lets back to subject.
Yesterday i started new game (as bounty hunter). Then i do some few contracts and in all houses and syndicates i got positive reputation (this game was about full-time controlling it - trying to make positive with all factions at once)
next when i was without any contracts and i was in my faction sector, i plotted course to my faction's planet and met military starship my own faction.
As I write before - i havent any contracts, my reputation was positive (but without any edicts). And when I surrendered - I was captured, convinced and imprisoned.

The question is why?
I just didnt get it

Should i retreat from all military starships when i dont have promotion to military officer? Thats quite rediculous

A few questions:

- Are you carrying illegal goods without a trade permit?
- Traveling through a war zone without a rank?
- Entering a War of Assassins without an Edict?


We are working to improve the feedback during encounters so that the details are not so much to manage.

- if you mean artifacts, weapon or electronics - no. I taked only delivery massage or passangers contracts, didnt fight and wasnt in independet planets - couldnt have a chance to get it
- war zone mean faction in solar war? as far i remember it wasnt, but couldnt be sure for 100%
- yes, probably with one of syndicates - but i was in my factions sector

edit:that was on version before update
but i would like to know for what reasons they could put player to jail

so even for being in sector with faction in solar war is an act of braking law?

there is a rumor called "open warfare" that makes it illegal to enter without Rank.

Solar War, the Conflict, is just about missions and rewards / starport ratings.

oh if you had fugitives (some passengers are fugitives) that is why you went to prison.

we are going to add a fix for letting the player know what is going on! super sorry
