How about a stimpak implant. implant that was more an ivw drip than amything. Basically it would be a nuclear cell changing device that would taken blood from the implantees body and molecularly change the chemical make up of the blood thro variously chemical process and the end result would be the stimpak compound which was slowly fed into the bloodstream via a timing mechanism. Any tampering with the dosage or timing mechanism would activate a self-destruct device and result in lose of limb. Maybe even a crammer implant? Been watching too much "Dark Angel", haven't we? ;D

Actually that's not too far off. I would change it to Nano-stim. The Nano bots, are programmed for only N uses, and when activated act just as good if not better than a standard stim patch. they flood the bloodstream with atropine and other necessary meds to prevent the onset of shock. Not quite what amphetamines will do.
Anyone remember the M.O.M. archetypes or Crazy boyz from Rifts? (been a long long time since I've even had the books, I know at least one of those two names isn't absolutely correct.) That's what such an implant reminds me of...only because of the conversion, addiction becomes prevalent fairly fast, and withdrawals from the direct injection methods supplied via Nano-bots can cause psychosis.
That being said, if it is an option...then I'm game! :-)

I get HP reductions a lot more times than MP reductions and seriously do not see the need of an Auto-Stimpack (remember, in CK, Stimpack recovers MP... people keep forgetting that this game is not Fallout) implant.
I am more in approval of a full body armored Suit that regenerates damaged body tissue through an automatic nano-med dispenser probe which is inserted into the anus. If you need to know why the anus out of of all possible orifices, then you are not punk enough!

If you need to know why the anus out of of all possible orifices, then you are not punk enough! sid said something like this to nancy before he killed her

I think they are evenly matched in game terms. Something like Ryu versus Ken. In opposite corners. Blue against Red. In plot terms, Blue Ox are more established while Los V are extremely ambitious and enterprising upstarts.

nyktos - there will be some differences introduced in the stats and starting EQ of the gang soldiers in the 0.4.4 release.

It would be better if our starting character can choose our own starting area. ;D

LordofSyn Crazies!,gawd that brings me back. That would be cool...could be implants that use drugs to improve you then have some backlash later on. You could turn it on n off. Teams with other hirable knights! Can't wait for that.....I think it would be cool if there was a contest or some such to let a few community members put their names and some design choice in for hirable knights.

I had to modify Rifts to play in a cyberpunk genre after a rogue gamer in our group stole our CP2020 and SR books. Rifts was/is a great game. lots of rolls, but overall a great system.

Im having a little triuble using tje quote abilities, Lordofsyn makes a good point about the repeated use causing addiction anew possibly physicosis. That of course would probably happen with the crammer nanos. The physcosis coukd have a penalty that caused loss of MP over a gradually period of time. Then you could have the double nanobot implants with the stimpax nanobots to accompany the crammers to prevent the MP loss. However the possible side-effects to using both is incalculable. No test subject has ever survived longer than 2s weeks in controlled lab conditions. Of course the streets aren't controlled lab condition and certainly never teated by a knight used to near death experiences and unmeasrued doses of crammer ando stimpax cocktails. Your motto is "if you have to measure the dose, than your not punk."

Thanks. It wasn't my intention to suggest it...however if implemented correctly, it will set a presidents for all of the other cyberpunk games out there.

Precedence, you mean. We would not want another one of those that do <j.a.c.k.> for our economy and give redundant empty speeches about how everything is getting better, do we?
