Spent a bit of time on Made Not Born creating my newest CyberSword. Maxed Attribs, Maxed Stats, No DV, 408k Credits, 1841 XP (2 Avail lol), known to the Fennians as a Gang Founder(1498).
My current global heat is 76, should I burn that off before leaving the sewers, or will it go away, like Rep does?

topper4125 I'm surprised nobody's got back to you about this yet. I imagine the brothers are so busy with the new games at the moment, but usually one of the regulars on the forum would have answered by now. I'm afraid I don't know the answer to your question, I've never spent long enough in the the tunnels to get my heat that high. It shouldn't be that big an issue though, even if it doesn't reset as your rep with Los V and Streets will reset. I would advise getting a good pair of stun gloves though and that will help you reduce heat build up a you'll stop killing everyone. I'll add tags for a few of the regulars to draw their attention to this thread. Been awhile since I played MnB. Heat should go down a bit if I remember. You Rep also drops to 25 I think. With your build up of credits, attributes, and stats, you should no trouble up in the NBZ. You'll want to get some Nano armor and med kits. A good place for the armor is Mars Corp Importers in Charlesbank. Back Bay Importers sells the med kits. Don't remember where to get the best gloves.

I burned off about half of them before I went topside, i figured if it was still bad, there are plenty of hotels and bars to ger rid of it. Turns out, Global Heat, and heat from Los V, and The Streets all zero out, so I wasted a few credits, but at least I'll know for next time. Now I'm off to go make a name for myself with the Fennians... AGAIN since it does drop to 25 as mentioned earlier by ntsheep |

Yeah, what you do in the sewers is nothing when you get top-side. People in the NBZ really don't care about your reputation or heat built up from down below. You're only just higher up the food chain than a gutter rat, and chummers don't even notice them. It does tell me though that you probably spent a bit too long in the sewers building up your rep. Anything north of 100RP is probably excessive  |

Hope you feel better soon grävling. I know what you're going through. I have asthmatic bronchitis thanks to smoke inhalation from a house fire years ago. It can be like trying to breath through one of those little coffee stirring straws. |

Like, "They pushed me off the swings when I was a kid" borderline serial-killer hate. I kinda did the same working for the Streets-- I wanted to boost my FN rep, but with Heat and distance I just stuck with the Streets. And good Lord, do the LV hate my butt now... (-600 plus on Brutal, and I still won't enter corpland without shivering a little) |

They pushed me from the swings too - if by swings, I mean my new star ship, that I had spent time learning how to fly, and by pushing, I mean attacking me in pirate ships.
