Scanners; noticed quite often that if unlucky can end up scanning one segment of wall, would it be possible too extend this to maybe a 3 tile radius, so as too gleam some sort of terrain info?
Also how about a rare or expensive heat reduction ordnance, noticed on some missions (kaldun factory being the main one)tacticly fun but alkward) that its extremely difficult to beat the turn count because of heat issues?

@intermittent - awesome idea for a new Ordnance type - we will investigate adding that.
The scanner does have a limited range if you hit non-walkable tiles. Try to scan in areas that you suspect are more reliably walkable.

My thinking on scanning was when it happens to be just 1 tile segment can be annoying, and extremely minimum information wise. Even limited info on impassable terrain (slightly bigger radius)or ajoining wall sections) would be more pleasing too the eye.
Have used the scanner quite a bit and noticed the varied affects dependent on terrain obstacles so am probably being too nit pickkie at this stage of games life, that and being no computer programmer, might be a bigger headache time wise and low to none priority.
