That friendly ships cannot occupy the same tile is a pain. So in some fights I am taping to more in, shoot, then clear the path for another ship to come in.
If there was an allowance that a ship could 'pass through' a friendly ship (but not stop) that would be awesome. Dis-allow if the MPs don't not get the ship on its own.
Also would like to have a WAIT function similar to Civilization One game... the Waiting piece will not be rotated through in the next ship list. (its waiting) now if the player taps on it prior to end turn, it 'rejoins' the next ship que.
This helps for ships that have already made their attack and perhaps have 1 move left but the player has no need to move the piece.

Friendly ships will automatically route around each other. I have not heard any reports of anyone having issues with this.
Can you send a screenshot or something that actually illustrates the issue you're having?

Are we talking about the wait function? Routing around the ships works so-so... but since torpedoes can pass through friendly ships, (even enemy ships!) why not friendly ships, as long as they have the MPs to finish the turn on an empty square.
'Wait' would add an intuitive control element.
