Hey guys luv the game I've been playing for about 5-6 years now. I'm having an issue with being able to recruit officers. I tap recruit and the button depresses but that's it. Nada. Help! I rely heavily on officers

Which officer are you trying to Recruit? Do you have the KickStarter reward for the 3 bonus officers? Anything else? Checked here and had no issue recruiting officers. So, it is something specific to your device, OS, or game configuration. We'd need details to help! |

You can recruit offices on several screens (Wild, Palace.) Which Officer specifically are you having trouble with?
where are you trying to recruit? I tested today on a few Androids and was able to recruit in both, when I had available Officer slots.

I've had the same issue with the body guard officer on an I-Phone 6 playing the Elite version with an open slot. The recruit button was there when I landed in the wilds but the lady refuses to come aboard. (Completely understandable I suppose given my surly disposition, questionable reputation and crooked grin) Chased several rumors around to three or four planets, the recruit button was active but nada. I finally gave up and enlisted another officer lounging at a local spice bar. The bodyguard officer is the only one I've had issues with. Pilot, mechanic, spy, military and political officers seem to work fine. Never looked to intentionally recruit any of the others although I did pick up a veteran by accident early one game. |

Oh, forgot to mention; I'm on the latest OS version. 9 I think. Can't recall if I had the problem before or after the last. OS update.

I've been having this problem too, appears to only happen with officers in wild zones though. Iphone 5S with IOS 9.2. Although upgrading to that made the game run far smoother.  |
