Hey everybody. I'm kind of new in the game but I have a question already. Can I controle the conflicts? For example: Is there a way to end or start a trade war?

My bad. No, there is no direct way to affect Conflicts. As an individual Star Trading Captain, your influence is too small to shift galactic politics.

You do have some influence, but not control.
The Conflicts you get involved in, the Contracts you do, and how Rumors are ended all have influence on the political scene, although that influence is pretty small.

Yeah, although it seems that you've coded the game so if you react to a shortage rumor and have to go through multiple planets to get your stock, the game almost always decides that the faction with the shortage is suddenly in trade embargo with your oldest friendly faction ... or is that just irony.
