With the changes to Tam, which I love by the way. She is the only character that cannot equip a weapon with parry. This makes her Stealth leading extremely perilous. I am having to forgo equipping any crit/ dmg equipment in favor of +parry equipment. Even super squishy KJ gets to have parry on his staff.
My suggestion is not to make it a lot of parry. This way Selen still stays clearly the Queen of Stealth Melee.
I suggest scaling the parry similar to hammers. If you add it to throwing knives then I would scale the parry of 1ap knives to the same as 2ap-1-handed-hammers and the parry of 2ap knives to 2-handed hammers. This would also make choices for gearing up more interesting. rather than just accuracy and base dmg; tthe slower knives, which I assume would be larger like a kunai as opposed to a throwing spike, you would get a little extra defense as well.
Bows also make sense as an emergency parry weapon although I think with the game design adding parry stat to throwing daggers makes more sense.

Thanks for the feedback. Don't forget the balancing aspects of Dodge and Toughness multipliers.

Cory Trese dodge is a standard defense die against melee. Parry is strong. Selen and Tam have the same con to toughness ratio and tam has only slightly better Dex to dodge ratio, but also no + parry abilities

I feel the pain, and its part of the design I missed in the conversion. Easy to fix by giving Throwing Knives Parry.

Bumping parry for throwing knives is a nice perk for Kincaid too.

Bumping parry for throwing knives is a nice perk for Kincaid too. It will not affect Kincaid, as he does not "dual wield" Throwing Knives. Just want to be clear about that.

Yeah Kincaid doesn't need it anyways. He already has the best melee tank talent in the game.

CdrPlatypus - letting Tami run -AP, -Res, combined with Kjartan -Armor ... I am not worrying yet (Ironman) about Fyona nuking -Res, but we might get there. Kincaid does his best to be untouchable, and Fyona is the iron tank in the second row. The new Tamilin changes really made me happy

fallen are you going to go into ms or branch for dmg with kj? With all the potential -Res, I am thinking that I have to branch. But, his primary AP soak has to be casting Choking Ash. This fits pretty well with a 4 AP Firestorm every now and again But, I will have to see. Only Tami will be packing -AP, so there is a lot riding on that Talent holding its own against big mobs and Kincaid really being able to dodge all the damage. Otherwise, some MS will probably be called for.

Not going to use reckoning? I will by 18, I imagine. I haven't planned that far for Fyona yet.
