Pointless request until you try Ironman/NIghtmare.
The Xeno hordes are closing upon our squad, we just need a little more time to make it out. "Clarence" the Zerker tells his captain whom he has campaigned with accross the void and on countless worlds, "Leave it me Cap, Death before dishonour!!" before running into the midst of the Xeno hordes and activating his "For my Brothers and Sisters and my fearless leader" Kamikazi Ordinance. A massive hole is blasted through the xeno ranks and his squadmates manage to survive. The halls of records will sing the story of this Fearless Templar who made the ultimate sacrifice for his Brothers and Sisters (only Templar who have passed on the lineage may possess such a device).
Could make for some awesome heart in throat desperation moments.
Anyways, whaddya reckon?

I cannot see the honorable Templar Knights using suicide bombers, even against the Xeno.
Hopeless odds, heroic last stands and fearless combat ... yes. But self-destruct sequences, no I cannot seem to find that in the Templar universe's lore.

Heh, John Steakely's book Armor used that one. IIRC, terminal, but living soldiers could override the safeties in their power suits and blow them, but it was pretty much a nuke when that happened.
Qualifies as heroic last stand, but inside a ship...the question afterwards is, What ship? It would also toast anyone still actually on one of the mission maps.
The thought crosses my mind that extending the mission to plant the bomb with a limited time to recover to an extraction point would be fun.
