I have botherd to work for one faction long enough to reap some loyalty rewards. I chose aztec,after some time I was offerd the FN-PAR weapon at 3000yen wich is a powerful weapon for the expected price. My problem with it is that I already bought the Bok Mok from mars I think for about 200 yen more,they have about the same stats except the bok mok comes with three more shots,plus no loyalty required,so unless there's going to be a difference added to them later the risk/reward/time put in seems out of balance.
PS I read the file so I knew the stats difference,but I had to check it anyway.

I think it's going to be chnged slightly or the other one is going to be changed to reflect similar requirements, I feel like cory is at th point in game development where he has tons of changes coming while as a human he isn able to update the game fast enough to reflect what he's thinking.

exactly! (+1's) and... in my humble opinion... 'balance' is one of the hardest things to attain, and 'immersing the player' is a close second... - everything is subject to change at this point - the next big item on my shopping list vanished with the update but its all good  they are doing a great job, but so are you guys by reporting this... 1. just KNOW that they are over-worked (but very passionate) 2. but KEEP the info coming! (they use us to perfect these games) not once have they told us to let up, so im gonna keep pounding away! ;D (not directed at anyone, just babbling) |

I realise this is beta,if it sounds as if I'm angry at the devs it was not my intention. I'm just helping in my own way. I see lots of discussion on what we would like to see and some amazing bug n Typo hunting(especially on gravlings part). I just figured its time to throw out some balance discussions.  |

gravismetallum - thanks for pointing out the flaw. its not much of a perk if you can get something elsewhere without the loyalty. You got issue #CK-202 and we will take a look!

Well, right now you can buy the FN-Par from Exxxon -- just walk into the shop and it is there.
I haven't checked to see if this means that the reward for being an AzTek loyalist customer has changed.

You should ask yourself *If I had a chainsaw in my hand would this better?* With the prevalance of cyberware, you could change the word "in" from that statement to "AS"! People don't even have to SEE it. They just need to have a sense of hearing to understand the gravity of the situation created be many sharp metal teeth rotating at an extremely high speed. |

blackgauntlet Cannot argue with that,subtle chainsaw is an awsome idea though a little contradictive. For me though it loses some of its magic if someone puts a chainsaw in me rather than me putting it in others. ;D
