Completely random torp and not planned at all. Pay no attention to the sheep behind the curtain.

Looking for some advice. Milestone birthday at the end of the year, planning to celebrate with a trip to US in summer '19. Probably going to do a week each in NYC and Boston. Likely to be there for July 4th. The question is Boston or NYC for July 4th?
Also I've been to NYC before, but I don't know Boston. Initial research suggests Back Bay and Southie would be good places to rent a safehouse apartment. Any thoughts?

Ok dayan, and fellow nerds, what would win in a dogfight, a Gunstar or a Veritech fighter. Let the games begin.

I think I finally found out how to derail this thread. I have come here on purpose to post which is not a random act but a premeditated plan of action. A paradox or derail or both. As Paul Harrell would, you be the judge

The egg came first, from something that wasn't a chicken originally.

Then how did it become a chicken? No matter how you look at it, it's just a weird paradox. So God creates eggs and he's like 'man this cool. I like this egg thing. I need a way to make more quickly. Oh I got it! I'll make a chicken that lays them. Then I can a whole bunch at a time.'
For those of a non religious nature,
A pool of acids and chemicals gives rise to a multi celled organism. This life form creates a hard shell to protect itself as it continues to grow. It then gets so big it bursts out of its shell and keeps growing. Years pass and pass. I can't think of how to keep this BS going without just laughing like a mad man so decide to end this post here,

Speaking as someone who has eaten both chicken and eggs, which by Internet standards makes me some kind of expert.
The whole question hinges on what we mean by egg. If we specifically mean a chicken's egg then the chicken must have come first. If we mean eggs as a more general concept, it depends on whether you believe in evolution or creationism. Evolution: (I have missed a few steps out for simplicity) single cell life -> multicellular life -> egg laying lizard thing that looks a bit like a bird -> bird that is almost, but not quite, a chicken, which lays an egg that produces a bird which is just recognisable as a chicken = Egg comes 1st.
Creationism: (all steps included)
God creates chicken and assorted other life forms all on the same day -> Chicken lays egg = Chicken comes 1st.
You could argue that earlier that week God created the earth and buried lots of fake dinosaur egg and other fossils in it to trick gullible doubters into believing in evolution, so actually eggs existed first. However, since these are clearly stated to be fake eggs, they don't count.
Ultimately, "time is an illusion, lunchtime doubly so", so the concept of something coming before something else is nonsense. Since we're talking about lunch... I'll have an omelette.
