Overkill - Cause at least 300 points of damage in a single shot Frustrated Already? - Fight 10 battles to a draw by reaching the battle turn limit TA Tourist - Visit every one of the planets that relate to a campaign in Templar Assault Slayernz Hero - Kill 1,000 Steel Song ships ... don't care what the reason is, so long as they die.

It's about 1000 turns - although ends up being something like 1003 turns. If you are engaged with a high level enemy captain enemy ship that refuses to leave you alone. You can't evade him because his ship is better than yours. You can't shoot him because your shots keep missing, and he can't shoot you because your pilot is high enough for you to dodge shots. So you and he keep just shooting at each other and missing. Yeah yeah, I know, you can board and ram and stuff ... but I'm a gun bunny. I'm not going to do that boarding thing. Instead I just shoot and shoot and shoot and adjust range and shoot. And then before I know it I've hit the turn limit and the game forces me into a draw.

I have a few ideas I don't think I've seen yet. I'm not going to speculate the values, I understand the basics in game up to a point but bow to TB!

I like the exploration ones a lot, space and surface. Is there a way to incorporate exploration awards based on the flavor texts in Rumors, game descriptions/ manual, lore evolution?

Those three, but especially the TA tourist award, are amazing ideas. You could even do a "BF Tourist" as well! No offense, Frustrated already sounds... frustrating! haha

You can do the Frustrated Already award by not investing anything into Tactics and getting to level 20 or 30 on Crazy difficulty. You'll soon find that you aren't able to hit anything at all. Have your pilot skill up, and nothing can hit you either. Result - very very very boring encounters

Aimed specifically for non-combat Captains: Aspiring Escape Artist - escape from X encounters with hostile Alien (encounter doesn't count if you defeat them) Accomplished Escape Artist - escape from 5X encounters with hostile Alien Master Escape Artist - escape from 10X encounters with hostile Alien

Like slayernz and his kill 1000 Steel Song ships, I'd say an award for killing 1000 De Valtos ships would satisfy me... I can't think of a name though...

If you retreat on last action and combat is finished, then that counts. IF Alien retreats and you don't, then that doesn't count. Does Alien (other than Hives/Hulks) ever retreat once engaged?? I did specify that it needed to be hostile, so Hives wouldn't count. Btw, I love the entire batch of awards you just wrote!

Penitent Sinner: earn the Independent Captain award, and the Syndicate/Clan hero awards, in that order. (I.e., get -151 rep with all factions, and *then* work your way back up to +151 rep with all factions.) On the same Captain, of course.

Unkillable: survive 20 hull collapses (via escape shuttle). Punching Bag: survive 20 hull collapses in a row (i.e., in 20 consecutive encounters). Hijacker: capture ships X times within Y AE. (E.g. capture 20 ships within 10 years. Not sure the exact ratio for challenge. Maybe a series of awards? Hijacker, Master Hijacker, Elite Hijacker. Elite Hijacker should be something ridiculous like capturing 40 ships in 5 years or something almost impossible to achieve like that. )
