I'd really like to be alone now - Attack and destroy ships in 20 consecutive encounters
Just leave me alone - Attack and destroy ships in 40 consecutive encounters
Aaaarrrrrgggghh - Attack and destroy ships in 80 consecutive encounters - Reward 10% fewer encounters

Hmmm. Variation on slayernz's idea: Predator 1/2/3: attack, loot, and destroy ships in 20/40/80 consecutive encounters.

Alien Nemesis: defeat an Alien ship with a single boarding action (i.e. close and board without firing torps or guns, and only board once).

Impossible Space Hive Vet: capture 10 Space Hive ships of at least 10 times your Captain's level. (Is this award even remotely possible?!) These are impossible. 1. You can't meet an alien higher than 3.8x your level. 2. The stats roll of the enemy captain would have needed to be extremely bad, but since he has 5x your level, he has 5x more stats points to waste (except for strength which could be even 250% of enemy captains level) 3. I have met a space hive 15x my level with a stealth build. Since space hives are mainly stealth builds, beating them so huge is impossible.

OK, so perhaps instead of 5/10 times the Captain's level, it should be something like 1.5/2.5 times your level? I think 1.5 is actually easily achievable, as my current captain is about lvl 75 or so, and has already defeated Aliens of levels around 150 or 180, maybe even one 200+?
As for the hive award, you're probably right that it's impossible... So far I've only ever defeated 2 hive ships, in two separate games, and they are unusually low-level for hives. Don't remember the exact levels of the first encounter, as it was a previous game some time ago, but the latest one was lvl 150+ hive vs. lvl 70+ captain (with 140+ pilot skill!). I've met hive ships of lvl 8000+, and of course there was no way I could ever catch up to them.

Well, there is the very minuscule chance that you will roll a Hive while doing a Blockade/Spy operation in Indy territory, in which case the Hive will be hostile. Assuming you can win, that is.

athios That's interesting, never knew that. Now I'm tempted to camp in indy territory to blockade/spy, just to see if I can kill a high-level hive.

Perhaps it makes a difference with boarding, since there are four alien AI. AS for the space hive, I have met a space hive 18x my level today. No chance to catch it.
