I had my Battleforce headed through the trench, towards Nyra's position, when I get ambushed by this bastard. Killed him pretty quick, but still. Brutal difficulty, 1.2.25, Kindle Fire HD

Brutus Aurelius - that isn't a bug -- Litches appear in the game as normal monsters after the action on Rychart Prime.

[br Not even having the decency to stay dead after you kill them. At least this one didn't have a while cult building life support for it.

They are rare, but there is a possibility that they appear in many levels after Rychart Prime.

Almost every time I played this level I ran into one. I knew it was normal from the get go.

Wait till they come at you three at a time, which happened in my last game. Heh. As observed in my guide to the armies of the quadrant, Litches are available as normal xeno units after Rychart Prime, albeit very expensive ones.
Cory can correct me, but it appears that the Xeno use a supply point system as well. The good news is, if you see a Litch, you should see correspondingly fewer other units, since the supply points that would otherwise go for spitters, Goliaths, and Predators instead went for the Litch. They don't appear to be cheap.
Respectfully,
Brian P.

Spitters are the WORST. Much rather have litches than those 6-range spitters.
