I really like the relatively recent addition of showing the amount of elemental damage a creature can do as well as the magnitudes of any weaknesses or specific resistances. However, it seems like sometimes the exact weakness amount is not given. For example, a dire wolf that starts out with "weak vs fire (-12) and weak vs holy (-50)" has holy strickening applied to it and now it simply says "weak vs all magic".
1) It would be nice if the specific weaknesses and resistances are still shown after holy strickening is applied (as long as they are non-zero) 2) I believe monsters have a "toughness" in addition to armor which acts exactly the same as armor (for combat purposes) but can not be removed. It would be nice to show the toughness in the monster stats too so that quantitative decisions about, for example, weapon choice can be made. 3) A very minor nitpick: when describing the elemental damage a monster does ("Causes 24 Earth Damage"), what is really meant, I think, is "Causes up to 24 Earth Damage."

Can you make sure you upgrade to the latest version? 1. I see "Weak vs. All Magic (-12)" here. If you're already on 4.2.9, then this is fixed for 4.2.11. 2. Toughness is not a stat we plan to add to the display. 3. Interesting nitpick, but I prefer the way it is printed already.

regarding the first point: I'm on 4.2.9 on a Nexus 9 (Android 6.0). Interestingly, I don't see the (-12). However, I have only been looking at creatures that already had some resistances/weaknesses, so after holy strickening it would have been an assortment of different values for the different damage types.

I think he meant that in 4.2.11 that it has already been addressed. You will not see it with 4.2.9. Also, I am not sure on toughness values for monsters. Although I have not kept track recently I know that I hit ratkin that were about level 16 for my maximum possible damage against their 0 armor. Could be that toughness is added later, the Volpa might be good to test on as their armor is decreased to 0 easily. If a Bull doesn't have toughness then I don't think anything does!

OK. I'm pretty certain I have seen toughness effects on trolls and possibly orcin.

I must have already fixed this for 4.2.11 but didn't remember. It's working here, so you should that in next update!

However, for the example here, I thought the correct thing to display would be Weak vs Fire (-24), Weak vs. Holy (-62), Weak vs Earth, Ice, Lightning (-12).

samopop - ok, I see the issue now. This routine was not originally built do display numbers, so its logic is wrong now that the numbers have been added. Will fix for real.
