I got a msg from someone who said that if I just knockout instead of kill the faction I'm fighting that they'll like it better. What does this mean? If I get in fight, do I have sedate all of them to not lose faction points? good thing to know since you can get attacked often. Even if it's one you're working for.

The NBZ is a violent and brutal place. No one is safe. There is no peace.
Knock out your enemies with Shock Gloves, Tasers and other less than lethal options.

Defeating an enemy by reducing their MP to 0 instead of HP to 0 causes less Reputation loss.

The best way to sedate the enemy is to drop a 50 pound box of sleeping tablets on their head. Works like a charm

Can you keep from losing rep if you only knock them out, but if not what is the min. amount you can keep from losing? I got in a fight, and lost 1 rep for killing one guy. Is it one rep per enemy killed?
I remember awhile back I was borderline obsessed lol, and had done a lot of work for blue ox. At a pointvi was given a contact to do quest for KH. At that point I think my rep for KH was -2700 roughly. I never got find ou what came next. I increased my rep by like a 1000, but was still so far away. Kinda wish at some points factions would let known their alliances. So you don't screw your rep up with their friends, or maybe I just missed it. I just mention it, bc it cost me so many hours. I plan to find out what happens next this time if rl doesn't get in the way again.

@nick111 - the Rep loss is rolled on a dice, so taking an enemy out with MP damage over HP damage can help reduce Rep loss. Rep loss can be higher for killing a target with HP damage, but again, there are some dice involved. -2700 is really, really bad rep

I've never had my reputation that low before! I'll have to give it a go - although I'm ever the diplomat, playing one faction off against another to keep amassing positive rep overall.

Lol my rep was very high with some factions, and incredibly low on others. I put a lot of time into the game. My rep was so low from doing kill, and kidnap missions. I had almost a maxed out set of allys (in every way, cyberware, cyberdeck, guns, armor, att., skills etc..This was at least 1 1/2 to 2+years ago, before hunders or female 3. Like I I had said before in another post, this game has everything l love in a game. I just wish the stories were more intricate, and more of them. Either way I love the game. I was enjoying the blue ox one like I was saying, before I realized my -rep w/Knight Horizon kept me from completing it. I worked a lot off though before my phone started messing up. I'd love to move my games on there over here to my tablet, but there's issues with my phone so I don't know.
I had the most expensive deck. Did a lot of matrix jobs too. How does rep work there now? Before everytime I stole data I lost rep. My question is how do they know it's me? In general I kinda wish the rep system was more kind, and more direct. I think if they can't see or trace you, then you shouldn't lose rep. Also I think the higher your intimidation should play a role in maybe keeping bystanders completely quiet.
I've been wondering if when you do a surveillance job if everyones' skills come into play or just one? I have a full team , should I go solo everytime doing a surveillance job? I just don't want keep lvling my stealth on everyone if it doesn't matter. Lastly threaten jobs, again does the whole team contribute, or just the one person?

Also I forgot to ask, but the dallitrex deck use to sell for160k. Not to mention making money a long time ago was so much harder. Anyway you could buy the dallitrex for 160k wherever it sells. Then sell it for like 210k at a pawn shop. Did you guys fix that?
