I think it be cool to have a few (more) maps/encounters w with enemies having massive ranged attacks like 13 or something that takes at least a turn or two of enemy fire before reaching them back, with a few scattered coverage pieces to move behind. Maybe some 7mp 5 range skirmishers thrown in. This would showcase the truly immese battle fields available when in combat without necessarily having to split the party just bcuz to show it off. Granted that you can see it all the time traveling out of combat, but encouraging more in combat would be good here and there imo cause that has a completely different feel. The game's immersion feels more substantial to me to have that (more). I accidentally came across it with high jugg w/bos. Storming across 20 tiles with the party behind, naturally zoomed the whole battle experience out. Of course the enemies need to be from two sides or more for the zoom out effects to be most dramatic. I tried suggestions for the party side, but haven't mentioned the enemy side more until now. There are certainly enemy's spawning far apart in some places, and multiple pulls to achieve this, but I'd like a couple more places in game purpose built to show off how big and epic the game is zoomed out in combat. Yes, it's late for suggestions of the sort with the game nearly complete, but I was late to the party.

Hopefully we'll last long enough to release another game after ST2 and we might be able to use some of these ideas!

Sounds like great stuff for sniper characters in CK2.

Sometime, maybe, if we survive long enough is better than 'no'. Thanks

Sometime, maybe, if we survive long enough is better than 'no'. Thanks You will see some of these larger "storming" type battles in the end-game dungeons.
