Well after 160 hours of ToS I don't experience it as a great loss.
I will go a step further and I will say this: even if you take away all the -resistance ToS does I would still take it all the way upto rank 9 100/100 times with Tam. Although this would make it more balanced as the +(add element damage) would become less powerful.

The game's design is built around constructing a successful set of Talents for the team. Sounds like you've found a good one. There are many, many fun options. I would suggest trying out some of the other characters and you can find combos that are just as powerful!

Well I will finish this playthrough and then do a new game with the other 4 heroes to see what I can do with them. But for now I am at the end of episode 3, just the last tower battle is left. And then will have to go through ep4 which I am looking forward too.

Another "good way" to enjoy the game is to put some higher difficulties on or play with the Ironman rules Depends on how you enjoy games, but fun for some of us!

Well when I bought the game I set the difficulty to easy and had no idea what to expect and no idea about any mechanics. So current setting is on easy but I should have gone normal for sure but on the bright I will for sure make rank 1 on easy difficulty -_-.
Next playthrough will be on normal with the 4 other heroes where I make opposite choises of what I did this game. I will then find out how the scoring penalties work for resting etc. since I have no clue about those.
My 3rd playthrough will be on NM with the "best" team although I have a feeling I will end up with Vraes, Kjartan, Fyona and Tam. But I hope the other 3 different heroes can convince me otherwise.
Maybe I'll do a boost in with the 4 heroes and then play act 2 to get a feeling and then switch to NM.

Rashar - that's awesome, great thinking. Easy is definitely a great place to start. In future games, we will be sure to allow hot-swapping of Heroes more like Templar Battleforce so you aren't locked into only trying 4 in a full, many-hour playthrough. Great to see you got hooked on the first group build, and I'm looking forward to hearing your feedback when you try a few other groups!

Still haven't played Vincent but know a number of people swear by him.

I will have to find out, I am looking forward to try to break the 4th dimension barrier with the 4 new heroes. Out of all the older heroes kyeara is the one I will deffo not miss. But for now I am pretty sure there is some 50 hours ahead of me. Since I will be looking at every nook and cranny on my 1st playthrough.

I'm enjoying my current party with Fyona but I severely miss Kyera's Ethereal Anguish and to a lesser extent her Purifying Breeze (party curse removal plus healing gives it edge over Fyona's Blessed Aura though it doesn't heal nearly as much.) and her ranged Holy Attacks allowing her to stay in back with Kjartan while helping take down enemies. Getting Fyona in range for her Strickening and melee attacks can present a challenge for entire parties especially with a Selen/Tamilin lead.
